The constant attempt to learn patience

I have found this to be a lifelong process . . learning patience, that is. Although I am now 50 yrs old, I sometimes feel as if I am 25 and want to scream and yell that people do not drive fast enough! I also have little patience for those who are inconsiderate of my time, or do not understand the purpose of their jobs (helping others, service, sales, whatever). I am working on compassion as well, which in  many cases does help me to learn patience. If I can understand the other person’s dilemma, I may be able to practice patience more often or more effectively. I want to be a better person, but this is constant work, and there are no days off! I am hoping that someone out there can understand my sojourn, and let me know that I am not going through this struggle alone. God bless all of you out there in cyber space!!

We all need a fresh start sometime . .

In life, it is important to look at things from different perspectives, even if it is not comfortable. Sometimes it takes major problems and near-tragedy to make someone see what is really important. Priorities can change over time, and things that once were of the highest order of importance may lose that.
